Create a New Forecast

  1. Click on [A] Add forecast. ▷ The Add Forecast form opens.

  2. In the [A1] Select Asset field, select the desired asset whose attribute you want to predict.

  3. In the [A2] Target Attribute field, select the attribute that should be predicted.

  4. In the [A3] Input Attribute field, select a Feature Attribute. ◈ Feature Attributes are supporting input variables that improve the model in calculating the forecast.

  5. If needed, add more Feature Attributes via [A5] Add Attribute or remove existing entries via [A4] Remove Attribute.

  6. In the [A6] Forecast Length field, enter the number of prediction steps. ◈ This determines how far into the future is predicted (e.g., 12 time units).

  7. In the [A7] Context Length field, enter the number of historical data points that the model should use for the calculation.

  8. Click on [A8] Save to create the new forecast. ▷ The configuration is saved and appears in the list.
