The settings in this chapter only affect the notifications you receive in the Eliona app or via your web browser.

Do you want to manage the notifications that are sent via SMS/email/Slack etc.?

What are Notifications?

Notifications inform you about various processes in Eliona.

Notifications should not be confused with sAlarms, escalations, or tickets.

Types of Notifications

When "notifications" are mentioned in this document, it refers to 2 types of notifications:

  1. Internal notifications

  2. Push notifications via your web browser (e.g., Chrome or Firefox)

Internal Notifications

Internal notifications appear in the Eliona interface.

Internal notifications are announced by a marker in the title bar [A], a visual cue [B], and a notification sound.

Push Notifications via Your Web Browser (e.g., Chrome or Firefox)

Push notifications are notifications that are issued by your web browser (e.g., Chrome or Firefox).

A push notification in Google Chrome

The advantage of push notifications is that you also see these notifications when you are not actively using Eliona.
