Create a New Client

Proceed as follows to establish a new connection to a broker or to edit an existing connection.

Connect with a New Client

1. In the sidebar, click on Connection [A]

   ▷ The "Connections" window opens

2. Select the MQTT [B] tab

3. In the workspace, a list of all already connected brokers is displayed [C]

   ◈ If you do not see any entries, no brokers have been connected yet

   ◈ Brokers that have been configured in other projects are also displayed

4. Click on [D] to connect to a new broker

   ▷ The ↗ "Client Details" open

5. Configure the broker as described in the chapter ↗ "Configure client"

Edit Client

1. In the sidebar, click on Connection [A]

   ▷ The "Connections" window opens

2. Select the MQTT [B] tab

3. In the workspace, a list of all already connected brokers is displayed [C]

   ◈ Brokers that have been configured in other projects are also displayed

4. Click on [F] to open a connected broker

   ▷ The ↗ "Client Details" open

5. Configure the broker as described in the chapter ↗ "Configure client".
