🏷️Attribute Functions

In the Attribute sidebar, the properties of an attribute can be viewed and configured in detail. Here we explain how to access this sidebar and what the individual sections mean.

To open the Attribute sidebar:

1. Navigate to the desired asset via: Assets → [Select asset]

   ▷ The Asset Details view opens.

2. In the table of attribute values, click on any attribute.

   ▷ The Attribute sidebar appears on the right side.

[A]	Calculator	Here you define formulas for calculating the attribute value from other attributes. -> Calculate values: The Calculator
[B]	Unit & Value Range	You can set the unit, minimum/maximum value, and step size. More information at: -> Add attributes to the asset template
[C]	Offset	Activate a static offset that is added to the value. -> Configure a meter replacement
[D]	Filter	Allows the activation of filters for incoming values. -> Filter
[E]	Visibility	Configure the visibility of the attribute in AR markers. -> Augmented Reality
[F]	Value Mapping	Assign readable texts to numerical values (e.g. 0 = off, 1 = on). -> Value mapping for attributes
[G]	Device Simulator	Activate the simulation for testing purposes. -> Device simulator
[H]	Reset Attribute	Resets the value of the attribute to the default. -> Reset output attribute
