Create a Digital Twin

A digital twin is an alternative to a BIM model. Unlike the BIM model, the digital twin is created with a photo upon which you place the assets.

Guide

  1. Give the digital twin a name.

  2. If the digital twin belongs to an asset, you can also select the asset.

6. Upload a photo or replace the existing image.

  1. Selection of assets from which data should be shown.

  2. Selection of the background default color for the information box.

  3. Enter reference position for information box.

  4. If the reference point is to be set outside the information box, please check it.

  5. Select which attribute to display (value, alarm, status).

  6. Check the box if you want the alarm to be displayed in the info box.

  7. Check the box if the status should be displayed in the info box, e.g. "Ok".

  8. Assign a label to the link. Click Show Label and enter the desired text in the box. The label that appears in the information box can be moved to any position using drag-and-drop and defined with a reference point. To do this, activate the Reference Point check box and drag the point to the desired location in the image.

  9. Check the box if you want the background color to be value-based, and create a value mapping accordingly.

  10. Click on Save.

The defined data is displayed on the digital twin. Multiple references or labels can be added.
