Eliona has an alarm management system that provides fast and effective alarm handling. It promotes preventive measures in maintenance and minimizes the downtime of the plants.

The alarm overview provides an overview of which faults occurred at what time. This allows users without in-depth knowledge of the plant to quickly locate faults and intervene in good time with the appropriate measures. Shutdowns and failures of plant components are avoided.

In addition, you have the option of triggering a notification when certain alarms occur. In this way, you can react immediately in the event of a malfunction and initiate any necessary measures. If an alarm occurs, a task can be created directly from the alarm in the form of a ticket for the specific person to solve the problem.

Example: Your system has a sensor that measures the temperature in a meeting room. You create a rule that triggers an alarm when the temperature in the meeting room falls below 20 °C. When the corresponding alarm is triggered, you receive a notification by email. Create a ticket for the corresponding employee, who will take the necessary steps to raise the temperature in the meeting room again.

Alarm overview

All alarms are displayed in the "Alarms" navigation area.

  1. Compact view: Hide alarm details, e.g. calendar display.

  2. Active: Indicates how many alarms are currently active.

  3. Acknowledged: Indicates how many alarms are acknowledged.

  4. Paused: Displays how many alarms are pending from paused rules.

  5. Statistics: Assessment area for further analysis.

  6. History: View completed alarms.

  7. Columns: Select the columns to be displayed.

  8. Magnifier: Search alarms by keywords, tags, time period or priority.

  9. Checkbox: Multiple selection of alarms.

  10. Priority: Shows the priority of the alarm.

  11. Comes: Indicates at what time the alarm was triggered.

  12. Duration: Shows how long the alarm was/is active.

  13. Asset: Shows the GAI of the asset. Clicking on it opens a page with asset information.

  14. Tags: Shows the tags assigned to the alarm.

  15. Attribute: Attribute that is affected by the alarm.

  16. Message: Displays the alarm notification that has been defined.

  17. Acknowledged by: Indicates who acknowledged an alarm.

  18. Acknowledged at: Indicates when the alarm was acknowledged.

Overflow menu

The overflow menu can be used to perform further common actions, like add the alarm to your bookmarks, view the alarm history, open a comment and create a ticket directly from the alarm.

In the selection "Go to" you have the possibility to jump to different menu items related to the alarm.

Example: An alarm is active, and you see it in the alarm overview. To now view the details of the corresponding asset, click "Go to" and "Asset". You will jump directly from the alarm to the corresponding asset and see all details in Asset Management.

The alarm list can be filtered. Click on the magnifier to open the search filter.

  1. Keyword: Search for an alarm using a keyword, e.g. alarm description or asset GAI.

  2. Tags: Filtering for alarms with specific tags.

  3. Priority: Multiple selection of alarms priorities to display possible.

  4. Timestamp: Alarm search by time period in which the alarm was active.

History

All completed alarms including logbook information are displayed in the alarm history.

Statistics

Statistics are now kept in the Alarms section.

This overview enables quality management to perform a more targeted analysis and identify trends.
