Asset Management

Content of the chapter: Editing and management of assets in the project.

PreviousRule EngineNextAnalytics & Reports

Last updated 1 year ago

The asset management section gives you an overview of all the assets (e.g. sensors, devices, integrated systems, etc.). It enables you to view and edit asset details in order to store maintenance information or documents, for instance.

Each asset and each system has its own expert system and therefore also its own associated documentation. You can use Eliona to attach chosen data to assets and to file these in a version system. Here, the data can be synchronized via a Sharepoint, giving access to the most varied of areas within the business (with or without Eliona login).

Eliona asset management makes document management accessible throughout the business. This means that each employee can find the documents they need quickly and with ease. The standardized editing and storing means that the company has sovereignty over the data, a reliable single point of information, and can save time by cutting out the laborious hunt for specific versions.

External service personnel can also have direct access to the documents of a system online and be presented with all the information collated into one overview.

In asset management, you are given an overview of all the assets in your project. You can view and edit the asset details.

Example: a fault has occurred on your system. In asset management, you can find all the assets of your system. You click on the relevant assets and can see all the data, which is crucial when searching for the fault. You can also find troubleshooting information in the documents stored for the corresponding asset. Furthermore, you can locate the fault from the comfort of your desk, find the necessary data and then start rectifying the fault without having inspected the system in person.

Asset Management Overview

  1. Geographic / Functional Sorting: In the Asset Overview, assets can be sorted either by their geographic location or by their function. For example, a heating system is geographically located in the basement of the building. Functionally, the solar panels, which is located on the roof, and the outdoor temperature sensor on the first floor, also belong to the heating system. Select whether you want to display the geographic or functional sort.

  2. GAI/BIM/Storey: For Asset, the following information can be read through these icons.
