Escalation overview

  1. +Escalation: Click to create a new escalation.

  2. Escalation Configuration: List of created escalations that you can configure.

  3. Remove Escalation: Click to remove the escalation.

  4. Configure escalation: Click the arrow to configure escalation.

  5. Sort calendars: Sort the calendar list in alphabetical order.

  6. +Calendar: Click to create a new calendar.

  7. General calendars: List of created calendars.

  8. Edit calendar: Click to configure the calendar.

  9. Remove Calendar: Click to remove the calendar.

Escalation configuration

  1. Escalation name: Choose an escalation name.

  2. Add Calendar: Click to +Calendars, to add a calendar.

  3. General Calendars: List of linked calendars.

  4. Users: All users who have the user tag.

Edit Schedule

Default Schedule

Enter your regular weekly schedule on the left and exception periods on the right.

Put your regular weekly schedule on the left side under default schedule, and exception periods on the right. If the schedule is unrestricted, you can check "Always active".

Add Target

Copy & Paste target schedule and exception dates & time

After you create a new schedule, you can simply copy and paste their settings in the Target Schedule and also Exception Dates & Time sections into the other escalation routes (Target). This saves you the manual effort of having to set them again for each escalation channel (Email, Slack, SMS, Google Chat and Mail2SMS).

General Calendars

Press the corresponding pencil icon to configure the calendar.

  1. Name: Enter the name of the calendar.

  2. Schedules: List of schedules for the calendar.

Remove escalation: Click on , to remove escalation.

+Tags: Add escalation .

Tags to escalate: Determine the that are present in the that need to be escalated.

Tags with Users & Targets: This lists the who have the same to be escalated.

+Tags: Click on , to add to pick out with the selected .

Tag: It shows the that the should have.

Target : Click on , to define how the should be notified.

Escalation test: Click on , to run an escalation test and send a test message to the activated targets like e-mail, SMS, slack, google chat and mail2sms.

Edit Schedule: Click on , to determine user availability schedule and exception dates & time.

Timehold: Enter the waiting time between triggering and in minutes.

Target deleting: Click on , to delete the target.

Calendars & Schedules: It shows the calendars & schedules of each .

Choose the escalation method between Email, SMS, Slack, Google Chat and Mail2SMS. To copy the target schedule and the exception schedule from the default schedule, you can activate the slider . Enter the waiting time between alarm triggering and notification in minutes.

Delete: Click on , to delete the calendar.

+Schedule: Click , to define a schedule for the calendar.

Delete Schedule: Click on , to delete a schedule.
